The Two Sisters’ Important Jobs

Our important two jobs (on the boring cold days) for my sister and I are sleeping on the warm couch, and checking on our food bowls whenever we wake up.

Boss likes to repeat to us that we have to do more jobs than that.  Boss doesn’t understand how hard of our two jobs that we already have.  You see, before we close eyes on that couch, it is too cold for two of us to sleep right away.  We have to sit for a while until the couch start to warm, that mean we already lose our bodies’ energy to do that.  Then during sleeping time, if one of us needs to go toilet, we need to have either one to stand by to keep the couch warm.  Because if not, we have to start all over the first step again.  We don’t want to waste time like that.

Another job is to check on our bowls as often as we can.  This job needs to be done too.  Because if we delay, Joa Ying, the Beagle, will takes this opportunity to clean our bowls right away.  We used to give our serious warning many times that she is absolutely has no right to do that.  However,  Joa Ying has short memory on our message, but she has  created herself  the permanent memory for cleaning  our bowl.  That is very frustrating situation for us.  The cold war between Joa Ying and two of us will never be end as long as that Beagle can’t improve her short memory problem.   Therefore it is our duty to keep eyes on our property to be safe from Joa Ying is the most important too.

We don’t understand why boss want us to go look for mice all the time whenever she see both of us on the couch.  We know that is our duty, but we just want to give all mice a winter break since we has been work on them all year long.   Both of us need to have conference on this matter before we will reopen our service.  Our schedule work needs to follow many procedures as the government job too.

However, boss doesn’t give up on us yet.  She starts to pull both of us from the couch, and tells us go do something besides sleeping.   My sister, Thong pond, likes to spring up to the top of the big clock, and she acts like she busy on looking for mice.   When boss walks away Thong Pond will sneak back to the couch again to continue her long nap.   For me?  I act like I’m very busy finding mice in the kitchen for a while, then I go sit in the living room.

My favorite activity in the living room is watching animal movies.

Boss knows I like to watch the Wolves DVDs, so she always turns it on for me when she thinks I had finished  my job.  So this is my hobby, watching TV, as you people like to watch talk shows, or sport games.
